Fall Hiking Spree

Join Summit Metro Parks for the annual Fall Hiking Spree! Complete at least eight designated trails between Sept. 1 and Nov. 30 to earn a shield for your hiking staff (or, if it’s your first year, both a staff and a shield). This year, in celebration of the 50-year rejuvenation of the Cuyahoga River, nine of this year’s 13 trails feature the river or its tributaries. Last year, 11,060 people completed eight or more trails. Download your participation form at hikingspree.summitmetroparks.org. Free for Summit County residents, $10 for out-of-county first-timers, and $5 for out-of-county returners.
