26th Annual Medina Ice Festival

Main Street Medina // Friday 4 pm – Monday 9 pm // Medina will be home to more than 100 ice sculptures during President’s Day weekend. Speed carving competitions begin Friday at 5:30 pm; individual carving competitions are Saturday from 1-4 pm; and the team carving competition is Sunday from 12-4 pm. All works are left on view after they are created. Free.

Zipcon 2020

University of Akron Student Union // 10 am-10 pm // Zipcon is a one-day anime convention held in the University of Akron’s Student Union. Zipcon features anime-related items, an artists alley where you can look at and purchase all sorts of awesome original artwork, a large variety of panels to go to, a masquerade to show off those awesome cosplay, guests to perform and speak. $10.
